The aim of the research seminar is to explore and discuss
the specific features of academic writing in social work
the present challenges in publishing research in (international) journals and their implications for social work and social work research
the practice of writing and submitting research papers to journals
The students will attend the 1 ½ day seminar, which includes three workshop sessions as well as the introduction session and concluding discussion. The seminar includes active participation and some work before the seminar (announced in detail later) and will give the participants 2 ECTS. The students are welcome to join the workshop ‘Ethics in social work publishing’ in the Forsa Conference at no extra cost.
The research seminar is free of charge and is open to all doctoral students of the universities belonging to the Nordic-Baltic Doctoral Network in Social Work. The network supports participation with a travel grant.
