Nordic-Baltic Doctoral Network in Social Work

The Nordic-Baltic Doctoral Network in Social Work is a joint network of the doctoral schools, universities and other institutions in social work in seven countries. The network provides research training for PhD students in Social Work in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Network was funded by NordForsk during 2009-2013, but is currently continuing organizing annual Summer Schools with other funding possibilities. Information under this webpage concern the project activities during 2009-2013.

The NBSW Network organises 7th Summer School 17-21 August 2015 in Kuopio, University of Eastern Finland, Finland. The theme of the Summer School is Connecting the global and local: the challenge for social work research. More information about the Summer School 2015 can be found here.
