Finnish-Chinese Collaboration for Doctoral Studies in Social Work

The project Finnish-Chinese Collaboration for Dcotoral Studies in Social Work (FCSW) aims at strengthening social work doctoral training in China and the internationalization of social work doctoral training and research in Finland. The core objective is to produce a common study module (16 ECTS) for doctoral students in both countries. The project is funded by CIMO China Programme for the years 2013-2015. 

FCSW arranges two intensive seminars; first one in September 2014 in Helsinki and the other one in Beijing 4-10 May 2015.Doctoral students from Finnish Universities will be selected during the first months of the year 2015.

Coordinating institution of the project is the University of Lapland and project partners include Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (GSCASS) from China and all 5 other universities with social work education in Finland (Universities of Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Eastern Finland, Tampere and Turku).
