SOSNET - Finnish National University Network for Social Work

SOSNET works nationally to organise specialised studies in social work at the postgraduate and doctoral levels and to promote university co-operation in the field at the undergraduate level. The network comprises the following departments:

1) The Department of Social Policy, University of Helsinki (Swedish-language social work training in Finland is provided by the Swedish School of Social Science at the University of Helsinki)
2) The department of Social Sciences and Philosophy, University of Jyväskylä
3) The Department of Social Work and Social Pedagogy, University of Kuopio
4) The Department of Social Work, University of Lapland (project co-ordinator)
5) The Department of Social Work Research, University of Tampere
6) The Department of Social Policy, University of Turku
